Five Reasons Why Motorola Isn't a Bad Phone Brand After All

5. It's a Hell Cheaper - Most Motorola phones are cheaper yet are as reliable as other phone brands. They also depreciate quickly, once the V6 Maxx was PhP21,000, then it got to Php 13,000 in just 3 weeks. Cool.

4. Design - Most of you don't know that many of Nokia, Sony Ericsson and other phone brands copied some of Motorola's designs, like the laser-etched keypad of the RAZR V3. The V3's overall design was even incorporated to the N72, the NSeries fashion phone. Sorry guys, but this is the truth. Motorola thinks of its own designs, so that's why they are the most fashionable of all brands.

3. Mod-ability and Simplicity - Believe it or not, all Motorola phones are easily modified. Even 5 year olds can create "skins" or themes of their phones. Why? Almost all Moto phones are so simple in their interface, the system files can be tinkered and improved drastically. I personally am one of the MotoModders. I added new themes, made the volume higher, and improved my camera quality easily; learning to mod is easy as 1-2-3.

2. Market Strategy - Motorola is a leader in marketing its phones, encouraging multiple artists such as the Black Eyed Peas to endorse their products. Many of the Moto advertisements are catchy and focus on style and finesse to win customers worldwide. It also lets people decide on what to buy through live tutorials and product demonstrations.

1. Pioneering Technology - The best of all reasons: Motorola pioneered many of the technologies and products we all usually don't even care who invented it. It made the first mobile phone call, first practical cellphone, first walkie-talkie in the world, among various others. Also, Motorola is not only making phones, it is also focusing in the defense industry, electronics, microprocessing, and cellular infrastructure equipment. Practically, WITHOUT MOTOROLA, THE MOBILE PHONE INDUSTRY WILL NEVER EXIST. Period.
